Amongst the wondrous primates found in Borneo, are the endemic Proboscis Monkey (Nasalis larvatus); the pig tailed macaque (Macaca nemestrina) and the long tailed macaque (Macaca fascicularis); the red leaf monkey (Presbytis rubicunda); and of course the Bornean Orangutan (Pongo pygmaeus).
